Shaker Dining Table Stone Top by De La Espada
Shaker is a dining table inspired by the simple, honest and utilitarian approach of the movement after which it is named. An expansive plane of marble rests in the solid wood frame, highlighting the natural colour and grain of the stone. The wooden leg frame recalls that of a refectory table, and includes a brushed brass detail on the cross beam.
Also available with a timber top.
Available in black walnut, white oak, or ash in a range of finishes, with a tabletop in a choice of Carrara marble, Black Marquina marble, Rosa Negrais marble, or Ataija Creme limestone. Brushed brass detail on leg frame. See menus below for further material information.
NOTE: When used in large planar applications, such as the top of a dining table, our taika Creme limestone will display more prominently the natural grain variations and other small marks such as fissures that lend each piece individuality and character. Fissures are naturally occurring in our limestone and are filled in production with a clear epoxy resin to restore the stone's tensile strength while retaining the character of the mark.
Crafted at the solar-powered De La Espada factory in Portugal. Designed by a creative partner and rigorously engineered with the support of our in-house product development team and expert craftspeople. Durability, comfort and aesthetics combine for a product that lasts a lifetime.
Timber is sustainable solid wood from North America or Europe, offering long-term repairability of the surface. Natural colour and grain variations in every plank make each piece an individual. Traditional wood joinery bonded with wood glue ensures structural integrity. All finishes are non-toxic and applied by hand, sprayed or rubbed.
Stone is from quarries in Spain, Portugal, or Italy. Natural colour and grain variations make each piece an individual.
