Onda is the first collection of tapestries launched by GAN, developed in collaboration with Charlotte Lancelot. A series of pieces conceived from a completely artistic perspective in which the designer has reinterpreted the popular needle painting technique seeking a much more pictorial effect than the traditional one.
Its design represents in an abstract and very vibrant way the undulations of waves or the earth, depending on its color range. It is a piece that moves between design, art, and craftsmanship, being made with the embroidery technique using thick felt strands on large canvases. Its function as a tapestry and the technique used also allow for emphasizing its irregular edges.
It is a tapestry designed, above all, as a work for contemplation, with a delicate balance between its innovative character and its poetics. A proposal that seeks to integrate nature into a space, inviting the mind to reconnect and find serenity. On the other hand, its tapestry format, present in many cultures of the world, generates an immediate emotional connection by being a familiar object but, at the same time, new and contemporary.
Vacuum regularly without a beater bar and blot spills right away. For deeper cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
