View Bowl by SkLO

The View Bowl is created by combining two separate shapes while hot on the glass blower's pipe. The form of the bowl is pressed against a cylindrical base, the rounded surface of the bowl pushing into the space within the cylinder. The tops and bottoms are then cut and polished. Each View Bowl is made up of two transparent colors, one for the bowl and one for the base, creating a complex color relationship. All glass dimensions are approximate - handblown glass dimensions vary by nature and intent. Made in the Czech Republic.
