Graphic TV Cupboard by Ethnicraft

In his quest to add movement to the surface, our designer Alain van Havre started layering and combining triangular shapes. Before he knew it, he had created an interesting composition out of teak. We ended up brushing the surface to highlight the grain and further emphasize the feeling of motion. Originally used for our popular Teak Graphic sideboard, the pattern now translates perfectly to a new TV cupboard.

• Wood pieces are unique and may come with natural variations.
• The natural characteristics, known as “Medullary Rays,” are the unique cellular structures found in solid wood, especially in White Oak.
• “Quarter-Sawn” cut is revered for its beauty, strength, and prevention of warping.
• Quarter-sawn oak is a more structurally sound hardwood than flat-sawn oak, resisting cupping, twisting, warping, moisture penetration, and raised grain.
• The flecks and rays that appear on the face of the boards are one of the most sought-after features of quarter-sawn white and red oak.

Despite light and shade variations, quarter-sawn oak enhances beauty and is structurally superior, ensuring a lasting quality.
