Pecan Desk Chair by punt
"A line of metal elegantly embraces the chair from the armrests and around the wooden backrest. The two oak elements (seat and backrest) contrast with the slender metal tube that characterises the silhouette of the design," explains designer Sebastian Herkner of his new Pecan chair for Punt Mobles.
Last year (2022), the German developed the Rio collection for the brand: a series of sideboards and cupboards with a lot of personality that rest on two cylindrical legs made of solid marble, which he complemented with lamps from the same family. This was already his style, a balance of materials and proportions. This time Herkner has done it again with an essential yet sophisticated design. He has managed to differentiate himself and create a minimalist chair with a strong identity, something that is fundamental for Punt. A versatile piece that can adapt to any interior design project, from living rooms to kitchens, restaurants or offices. The light and thin steel structure contrasts with the wood, framing it. In addition to its aesthetics, its ergonomics have been worked on for its comfort and use, as it is stackable.
The name Pecan comes from the shape of the backrest, an organic silhouette reminiscent of pecan nuts. An inspiration from nature, like the material used in the chair itself.
