In the design of the Tramas collection, it is as if, during the ideation process, the framework had been deconstructed to regenerate a new weave, with a different manufacturing process, other materials, and an innovative aesthetic. The Tramas rugs explore the aesthetic and manual crafting possibilities implied by mixing different types of materials in the same piece: felt and wool.
While the dense and soft texture of the felt introduces warmth, comfort, and a layer of visual depth to the Tramas rugs, the wool generates tactile and aesthetic contrasts that enrich their surfaces and the perception of the pieces.
This complex process has resulted in a composition with a very graphic character that, just like in painting or graphic design, generates an effect of depth and three-dimensionality, not only visual but also spatial as it is a rug. The biggest challenge in its creation, therefore, lies in working in different dimensions, where the combination of materials, colors, and textures requires execution on hand-operated looms with rigorous attention to detail.
Vacuum regularly without a beater bar and blot spills right away. For deeper cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
