The rugs in the Panal collection are a true tribute to the perfect geometry that bees achieve through the hexagon. A design that takes inspiration from the extraordinary architectures that bees construct, and that also pays homage to their capacity, as invisible engineers, to maintain environmental balance and biodiversity.
To reproduce the heterogeneity of honey tones and the volumetry that honeycombs have, this collection is handcrafted knot by knot, as its complex and dense structure of colors is only possible through this technique, the most suitable for achieving its level of perfection, in the same way that bees do. It is part of our GAN EDITION series: rugs that are handcrafted in Nepal using the hand-knotted technique employing 100% New Zealand wool.
Bees are not the only architects of the animal world, nor are humans, as defended by the Finnish thinker Juhani Pallasmaa, since many other animals perform authentic works of highly efficient architecture, such as birds with their nests or spiders with their webs. By extension, the Panal collection is a tribute to all this natural wonder.
Vacuum regularly without a beater bar and blot spills right away. For deeper cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
