Make a wish! Named after the humble dandelion plant, the Taraxacum pendant light, designed in 1960, astonishes a gorgeously diffused blooming light. The white powder-coated internal steel structure is sprayed with a unique cocoon resin to create its stunning diffuser, finished with a transparent spray for protection.
Inspiration behind the design: The Castiglioni brothers were known for their ability to make us look differently at the world around us. Taraxacum is another example of their deft skill. Here, the dandelion—a common garden weed—is recreated as a thing of true beauty. As functional as it is gorgeous, the Taraxacum will change how we look at this humble plant.
