Memories Rug by Golran
Experience the captivating allure of the Memories Rug Collection by Golran. This unique and original collection is the brainchild of the talented Florentine artist and designer, Isabella Sodi. Infusing her valuable aesthetic-cultural expertise straddling interior design and haute couture, Isabella Sodi presents her personal interpretation of the carpet, creating a collection that offers a highly sensitive insight into the precious art of carpet weaving. The focus is particularly on ancient Nepali techniques.
The Memories collection takes inspiration from the colors of nature, featuring a sophisticated palette ranging from shades of white, grey, and green, to the golden hues of amber and topaz, and the deep tones of ebony black and hematite. Each color is infused with personal touches, with soft shades that vibrate among the sheen of silk and the "dusty" patina of wool and linen. The collection offers a delightful mixture of fibers and weaves, incorporating deliberate touches of slight imperfection that create carpets boasting the charm of instinct and manual skill.
