Gaulino Easy Chair by Barcelona Design

The Gaulino Easy Chair is a natural evolution of the iconic Gaulino Chair, it being a little lower and wider. It fulfills the function of an armchair but is visually much lighter.

Inspired by Antonio Gaudi and Carlo Mollino, Tusquets created 'Gaulino' in 1987. It was an industrially hand-crafted chair with a contoured wooden frame, slender tapering legs and smooth rich leather. The artisanal chair became a modern icon of 20th-century design.
The Gaulino easy retains the functional artistry of the Gaulino while sitting lighter, wider, and lower.
BD introduced the Easy chair as an alternative to the Gaulino. The lowered backrest and low, dropped seat provide an elegant yet relaxed position. It maintains its aesthetic with the stained and varnished frame revealing the same natural grain held in the Gaulino chair.
