Handmade in India
Woven using a kilim technique, Kita features a delicate central braid intricately woven from the fabric threads, reminiscent of the graceful contours of a mountain ridge.
Manufactured from natural materials and craftsmanship techniques, the Kanji, Miglio and Kita carpets contribute to emphasising the unique and sophisticated features of the Rimadesio collection.
Made of wool from Kashmir and Rajasthan, known for quality and exceptional durability and abrasion resistance, the Kita carpet is artisanally woven on a cotton warp in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The relief mark that characterises the artefact is achieved through the manual weaving of the same thread during the production phase.
Composition: 90% wool, 10% cotton. Technique: hand weaving. Colours: CR05 Granite, CR06 Forest, CR07 Clay.
