La Mano by Gio Ponti came to life through a playful series of letters exchanged with silversmith Lino Sabbatini, who created the object in response to Ponti's sketch of a six-fingered hand. What began in jest became one of Ponti's most cherished creations. Both iconic and unexpected, La Mano embodies his irreverent spirit and unmistakable character.
