Drape Arm 8 Chandelier by SkLO

The Drape Arm 8 Chandelier consists of 8 individual pendants suspended in an oval pattern from an 8-spoke brass armature suspended in turn by a rigid brass stem. The glass diffusers are available in three shapes and in both "dipped" glass, featuring the SkLO double-dipped flame-polished mouth and "textured" glass, featuring a soft, frosted finish and subtle sculpted vertical ridges. Each pendant is suspended on a fabric-wrapped electrical cord. The exposed cords leave the canopy and pass through the ends of the individual arms.

Glass shaped by hand

The glass shapes of the Drape Arm 8 Chandelier are formed by hand, allowing them to be slightly imperfect to express their handmade origins. The "dipped" glass options feature an irregular, open mouth, created by double-dipping the piece into the molten glass crucible, followed by breaking the piece from the pipe and fire-polishing the opening - a purposeful expression of craft and the act of glassblowing. The "textured" glass diffusers have no opening. Their surface is frosted and features a subtle pattern of lines etched into the glass for a moody and classic look.

Movement and functionality

The eight arms of the Drape Arm 8 Chandelier describe a long oval, approximately 24"/610mm x 48"/1220mm. Perfect for rectangular dining tables, or simply suspended within a tall space to provide elegant light.

It begins, necessarily, with the basic Drape Pendant itself.
