The CH07 Shell Chair 60th Anniversary Edition is an exclusive variant made from FSCtm-certified rosewood and oak, with or without a black aniline leather seat. This anniversary edition is available until December 31st, 2023.

The CH07 Shell Chair was first presented on September 20th, 1963, at the Cabinetmakers' Autumn Exhibition and is considered one of Hans J. Wegner's most iconic designs. Carl Hansen & Søn celebrates the Shell Chair's 60th anniversary with an exclusive edition made from rosewood and oak. A small brass plate engraved with Wegner's signature is mounted on the back of the chair.This special edition will only be available from October 2nd to December 31st, 2023."Hans J. We have chosen to render the shells in rosewood. Its characteristic dark and warm grain contrasts beautifully with the oak frame.
