Gaulino Table - Walnut by Barcelona Design

Oscar Tusquets decided to use some of the distinctive elements of the Gaulino chair in this elegant table, available in various sizes and finishes.

Old rockers never die and Oscar Tusquets is eager to demonstrate this.This architect, artist and writer has designed nearly everything duringhislong career. In particular many chairs, some of them very admired butpossibly none of them are as beautiful as the Gaulino. Tusquets explainsthat in this piece some critic detected his well-known admiration forSalvador Dali but, when he saw it finished, it seemed to him that the clearestinfluences came from Antoni Gaudi and Carlo Mollino. This is why it is calledGaulino. He designed it in 1987 and since then it has become a reference inSpanish design. The table was designed in 2011 as a complement of the chair
