The cantilevered table is designed as a highly flexible, raised universal surface that complements low waiting room seating.

The minimalist design of the table is an exercise in purely functional form. The enveloping expression of the design communicates a soft dialogue between the user and the product, establishing a new relationship between the table and the surrounding furniture.

The designer, Marc Thorpe, argues that “it is the minimalist design that makes this table a winning product, making it less about itself and more about the relationships it manages to establish.”
