Mikado Meeting Table by Ethnicraft
The well-known Mikado design by Alain van Havre, made into an elegant meeting table with wire management. Keep cables and chargers out of sight thanks to the wooden box under the centre of the table top. Power outlet not included.
- Wood pieces are unique and may come with natural variations due to "Medullary Rays" which are the unique cellular structures found in solid wood, especially in White Oak.
- The type of cut, known as "Quarter-Sawn," draws out these desired characteristics, enhancing the beauty with light and shade variations.
- Quarter-sawn oak is more structurally sound than flat-sawn oak, resisting cupping, twisting, warping, moisture penetration, and raised grain.
- One of the most sought-after features of quarter-sawn white and red oak is the flecks and rays that appear on the face of the boards, resulting from cutting along the growth rings.
